Euclidean Fancy |
|
"I created Euclidean Fancy after a visit to Eze, an ancient city on the Cote Azur in France, where I observed the walkways decorated with embedded river rock.
While designing Euclidean, I determined that the organic shapes of the river rock would be accentuated if the surrounding shapes were angular. To keep the piece from becoming too linear and harsh, I incorporated natural textures and acid washes to soften the work."
